The follicle build up of micropigmentation takes place across a number of sessions. Typically 3-4. It is carried out by a trained microscalpist who subtly, using a small needle, injects pigment into the skin layer. Your trained technician will use existing hair follicles to determining spacing.

WHAT DOES A CONSULTATION INVOLVE?
- Understanding your medical history and assessing your scalp for suitability
- Discussing questions around the procedure
- Outlining expectations and outlining results
- A small patch test
- An outline of fees/payments and future schedule
WHAT DOES THE FIRST SESSION INVOLVE?
On your very first session you will come into the clinic, ready for your transformation
to take place. You will settle into a comfortable position and your consultant will discuss and draw
up an initial chalk lie of your desired result.
You will have the opportunity to cover off any questions also during this session.
You can relax and catch up with some music or simply talk to your practitioner
throughout your treatment.
Treatments times can vary from 1-3 hours depending on levels of baldness, so your
comfort is paramount. Once your treatment is complete, you have an opportunity
to review it from all angles to ensure you are fully happy with your look.
Treatment two and three follow in similar suit, minus the chalking up of hairlines,
which will already have started. The hair follicles will start out faint and get
progressively darker from session to session as you the client confirms you are
DOES THE PIGMENT FADE?
You can expect the pigment to fade ever so slightly after the first 4 weeks, which is factored into your desired shade.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT AFTER EACH SESSION?
After session 1:An instant hairline and visible results with a little redness, which will fade in days/weeks.
After session 2:A slightly darker and more defined hairline or denser appearance of hair.
After session 3:A darker and fully defined hairline or coverage of area. The pigment at this stage may appear a tad darker but will fade after a few weeks.
Clients have commented that upon inspection they personally cannot define which pigments are original vs new pigments. To touch there is no differential.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Results can vary in terms of how long they last. For some clients the results can last a
lifetime with no change in colour, for others it can be 5 years. To maintain, we
recommend you plan for a top up every 4 to 5 years. Sunburn can have an effect, so
we recommend using sun-cream to prolong the results.
DOES IT HURT?
On the scale rector which 0 being no pain and 5 being severe, we place the
treatment at a 1.
The good news is that whilst there may be a little discomfort during the treatment, it
will stop the moment the treatment is over.
HOW LONG SHOULD I LEAVE IN BETWEEN EACH SESSION?
Between consultation and session 1: 24 hours (We like to give you a window to fully
consider your decision)
Session 1 & 2: A minimum of 1 week for the redness and results to settle
Session 2 & 3: A minimum of 4 weeks.
WHAT DOES IT COST AND DO I PAY IT ALL AT ONCE?
We like to see a picture at the very least in order to give you a quote but as a guide
prices range from £500 for small areas to £2000 for a full head treatment, which
would include 3 sessions.
We allow clients to split the payments across three sessions but offer a discount if
paid in full.
CAN I EVER REVERSE THE SESSIONS?
We have never know anyone wishing to reverse the results however we recognise
that as clients get older they could potentially want to recede the hair line slightly to
reflect age or even soften a hair line. As this procedure is half as deep as a tattoo and
only goes in the second dermal layer, this could be achieved. A full reversal could be
achieved in less than 3 laser sessions and a hairline softened up in less than 30
